I am not sure how to classify this & it really doesn't matter... :) This album is superb & filled with incredibly playful melodies & wicked humour - especially in the lyrics. The humour in the lyrics reminds me a little of a modern day Tom Lehrer even if the music is totally different but it is the playing with words & having a ton of fun while doing it that does it :) Thank you so much to tesla_666 for taking me here! I love it & highly recommend it!!!

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
